Northstar™ Resort is taking its women’s clinics to the next level this season, offering all-inclusive three-day courses focused on health, wellness, camaraderie, and of course, skiing. Taught by Northstar Resort’s top certified female instructors, camps include three days of instruction, demo equipment, lunch, video analysis, yoga classes, wine tasting and appetizers, an equipment class, and coffee each morning. The women’s camps are perfect for those who feel they have hit a plateau or learn better in an encouraging group environment. Participants are known to see tremendous growth in their skiing ability, and make some new friends in the process.Beginner to expert skiers and snowboarders are encouraged to participate in these fun, challenging, and non-intimidating programs. A USASA sanctioned event for freestyle skier and snowboarders with a slope style event on Saturday and a GS competition on Sunday. Competition is open to amateurs from 6-60+ years old. Space is limited to the first 125 riders. Registration will take place between

This event features a dog agility course made entirely out of snow. Instead of cones to weave, your pup will maneuver a line of fire hydrants made of snow. Next he’ll run through a tunnel of snow, jump bone shaped hurdles and finish up over a snow made ramp. The agility course is nothing like you have ever seen and is a great way to kick off Snowfest before the fireworks. Fireworks start at dusk under the beautiful peaks of

Event: Northstar at Tahoe Easter Festivities Mar 23

Northstar Resort will celebrate the Easter holiday with festive activities for all ages. The Easter Bunny will make guest appearances both in the Village at Northstar Resort and on the mountain. The Resort will host an Easter Egg Hunt at
11 a.m. on the Village Overlook, located above the skating rink.

Event: Northstar at Tahoe Women’s Ski/Ride Clinic. Mar 26 to Mar 28

Northstar Resort is taking its women’s clinics to the next level this season, offering all-inclusive three-day courses focused on health, wellness, camaraderie, and of course, skiing.Taught by Northstar Resort’s top certified female instructors, camps include three days of instruction, demo equipment, lunch, video analysis, yoga classes, wine tasting and appetizers, an equipment class, and coffee each morning. Discounted lodging packages are also available for participants. Camp dates are January 9-11, February 1-3 and March 5-7. More details are to come.

Northstar Resort challenges the culinary skills and snow sport abilities of local restaurateurs and their employees during this fun-filled and often humorous event. Consisting of two parts, racing and cooking, each team will have four people with at least one female member or a man in drag. Between racing on skis or a snowboard and preparing/presenting dishes derived from ingredients presented that day, guests won’t want to miss this event.
