I just returned from our first boat ride of the season on Lake Tahoe- a gorgeous nearly perfect day, no wind and no crowds! Incline Village is the gem of Lake Tahoe- central to ski resorts like Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows, Northstar, Mt Rose, Heavenly and our own Ski Incline “Diamond Peak”. Squaw Valley closed yesterday, and today we are out swimming (very briefly!) in the Lake. We enjoy mountain bikng out our back door, rock climbing at Trippy Rock- just a fe minutes up Mt. Rose Hwy, there are 2 golf courses, a huge recreation center with Olympic pool, two beaches for residents- one with outdoor pool, and great outdoor dining, music, even movies under the stars during summer.
